Regional Vice President, Sponsorship Sales

Live Nation Entertainment's Media & Sponsorship Division is seeking a Regional Vice President, Sponsorship Sales to lead and scale a high-performing team of sponsorship sales executives. This senior leader will own the full revenue strategy across Live Nation's owned and operated venues, festivals, and digital platforms—driving transformative brand partnerships that sit at the intersection of music, culture, and consumer experience.

This is a critical leadership role that requires a commercially minded executive with deep sponsorship expertise, a proven ability to build and inspire elite sales organizations, and the gravitas to engage C-suite decision-makers at the world's most iconic brands.

What This Role Will Do

  • Set and execute the regional sponsorship revenue strategy across a multi-market portfolio of venues, festivals, and digital assets, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide growth targets.
  • Own a complex P&L inclusive of annual revenue goals, budget management, pricing architecture, and margin optimization.
  • Develop innovative, solution-based music marketing platforms that integrate on-site activations, digital media, content, hospitality, and data-driven audience targeting.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging sponsorship revenue streams, including naming rights, category exclusivities, and multi-property bundled partnerships.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on annual market-by-market strategy, competitive positioning, and go-to-market planning.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of seasoned sponsorship sales executives across multiple markets, fostering a high-accountability, high-performance culture.
  • Motivate the sales organization to consistently achieve and exceed personal and team revenue goals through strategic deal support, account planning, and executive sponsorship of key pursuits.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close complex, integrated sponsorship deals that advance Live Nation's strategic priorities and deliver measurable brand outcomes.
  • Cultivate and expand a robust network of industry relationships across brand marketing, experiential, media, and entertainment sectors.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure contractual compliance, deal governance, and adherence to Live Nation standards.
  • Oversee end-to-end account management, including contract execution, invoicing, receivables, and sponsor activation quality control.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on pipeline health, revenue forecasts, market intelligence, and competitive landscape to senior leadership.

What This Person Will Bring

  • 12+ years of progressive sponsorship sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership or management capacity overseeing revenue teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of personally closing seven- and eight-figure sponsorship deals and consistently exceeding annual revenue targets.
  • Proven success building, managing, and scaling high-performing sales teams in a distributed, multi-market environment.
  • Deep expertise in venue-based and/or festival sponsorship sales; live entertainment or sports & entertainment industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills with the ability to command a room, present to C-suite audiences, and represent Live Nation at the highest levels.
  • Sophisticated negotiation and deal-structuring capabilities across complex, multi-element sponsorship platforms.
  • Data-informed sales approach with fluency in CRM tools, pipeline management, and performance analytics.
  • Capacity for creative, innovative thinking that pushes the boundaries of traditional sponsorship models.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where agility, entrepreneurial spirit, and bias toward action are essential.
  • A genuine passion for live music, entertainment, and the power of shared experiences.
  • Strategic thinker who can operate at 30,000 feet while maintaining the commercial instincts to drive day-to-day deal velocity.
