Responsibilities

As an SDR, you are the first contact for cities and municipalities - and thus a central part of our sales team. You identify suitable contact persons, generate interest in our solution, and lay the foundation for successful customer relationships in the public sector. You are the first contact person for potential new customers and are responsible for building a qualified pipeline for our account executive team.

What makes your role special:

Working as an SDR with us differs fundamentally from the classic SDR activity: Our target group - public administrations - can be found with a few clicks. Phone numbers and email addresses are usually publicly accessible. There are no classic gatekeepers to overcome or objections to anticipate beforehand. Instead, you meet interlocutors who are open to exchange and are happy to talk about their current situation. An environment in which sales work exactly as you wish.

Your tasks in detail:

  • Outbound Prospecting: You identify new leads and contact them by email, phone, and LinkedIn. You also develop new outbound campaigns and find creative ways to generate leads.
  • Qualification & Discovery: In cold calls or scheduled introductory meetings, you determine the status quo, pain points, and challenges of potential customers - with the goal of qualifying them for a further demo appointment.

Qualification

Your qualifications:

  • First experience in sales as BDR, SDR, AE are a plus.
  • Ideally, you have already gained first experiences in the exchange with B2B customers in the SaaS sector. Experience in the public sector is a strong plus.
  • You are characterized by your positive attitude, high social competence, and outstanding communication skills and are an active listener.
  • You are goal-oriented, proactive, and "get things done" while others just talk.
  • You are passionate about the SaaS or software industry, enjoy working with modern tools, and like to develop yourself further.
  • You have native-level German language skills and English skills at C1/C2 level.
