The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Converter Markets Sales Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Achieve or surpass sales growth targets within the designated geographic area.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities and activities.
• Cultivate, support, and strengthen relationships with key converters and OEM customers.
• Develop and execute business plans and strategies for key converter customers.
• Provide training and support to key divisional partners at OEM account

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Current, valid driver's license AND
• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university and/or Three (3) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment. OR
• High School Diploma/GED or ten (10) years of selling experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Previous experience in tape converting industry or within 3M industrial market center
• Experience calling on and managing corner office executive level relationships
• Skills include presentation skills, CRM (Salesforce.com), written and verbal communication, business planning, sales

Location: Houston, TX, (Sales territory: Houston Metro, San Antonio, LA & MS)

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international

Relocation: May be authorized
