Director Specialized Sales, Cloudify Voice
The primary objective of the Director Specialized Sales, Cloudify Voice - Desk Based, Partner is to guide a team of specialized sellers to acquire and grow new revenue streams throughout the customer life cycle as well as manage the migration process. The goal is to achieve monthly recurring revenue that meets or exceeds assigned growth and incremental revenue targets. Key functions include establishing productive working relationships with the region's direct and channel sales account teams, as well as internal and external ecosystem partners. The role also involves prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals with customers for Lumen.
The Main Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a growth-focused team for Voice, UCC, CCS, SaaS, and CaaS products.
- Manage strategic partner relationships with clients in North America.
- Develop and maintain relationships from operational to 'C' level within the Enterprise commercial space.
- Meet or exceed management objectives, billed revenue, and sales quotas.
- Drive new revenue streams with clients and partners.
- Provide superior technology and solution knowledge daily.
- Maintain accurate strategic region and territory plans.
- Manage sales funnel and monitor pipeline activity.
- Execute formalized relationship mapping and business development activities.
- Develop and execute partner business plans and coordinate business reviews.
- Collaborate with internal organizations to develop solutions and ensure successful deal execution.
- Use a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and deliver managed services solutions.
- Develop executive relationships and oversee customer retention strategies.
- Ensure smooth transitions for customers to new products or services.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- 12 years of technology sales experience, including direct and channel leadership.
- Proven success in consultative leadership and training selling techniques.
- Experience in developing high-level client relationships and driving multi-product solutions.
- Completion of consultative or solutions selling training (e.g., Miller Heiman, Sandler).
- Strong business network with major clients and vendors in North America.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerBI, and AI systems like Microsoft Copilot.
- At least 3 years of experience with Voice-based services (SaaS, Unified Communications, Cloud applications, VoIP, telephony).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years in a technology management role.
- Industry knowledge of trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.
- Experience selling to large enterprise businesses, including Cloud Computing Services, Managed Hosting, UC&C Services, and more.
- Technical sales certifications (AWS, Cisco, Zoom, Microsoft).
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Range
$148,838 - $198,450 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY $156,282 - $208,373 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI $163,727 - $218,295 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
