Job Title: Territory Sales Manager / Senior Executive – Hospitals & Institutions | India

We are looking for experienced sales professionals who have established a network in Hospital & Institutions Business; through partnership and sales operations, generating visibility and credibility of Essilor Brands across Ophthalmic & Hospital markets in Karnataka, predominantly in Bangalore and upcountry markets.

Your Role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana; you will collaborate closely with internal teams, external stakeholders and be part of global initiatives if needed.

Main responsibilities:

  • Accelerate sales of Essilor Brands within Pune and Rest of Maharashtra by way of executing a STP Model [segmentation, targeting & positioning] of potential customers & Essilor Brands thereby leading to increase in business growth.
  • Accountable for achieving Sales & Collections of Institutions business in Maharashtra
  • Increase business avenues and scale up sales operations in unexplored markets by developing a Business Partnership Model with Hospitals
  • Identify and execute conversion of hospital prescriptions into spectacle orders
  • Closely work with Regional/ Corporate team and the Hospitals team for improved dispensing and ticket size of overall spectacle business
  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders [KOL] or the Optical Counsel in order to enhance knowledge/ updates of ophthalmic products
  • Enhance Institutions business by implementing National & Regional Sales Initiatives as prescribed.
  • Identify and understand customer needs & implement Customized Business solution for Strategic and Key Accounts
  • Manage Key stakeholders, coordinate with cross functional teams by building a rapport to ensure smooth execution of service deliverables
  • Create visibility of Essilor Brands by participating in market campaigns
  • Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers
  • Conduct market intelligence in the Ophthalmic & Hospital segment by being aware of activities implemented by competitors and other players

Ensure adherence to legal rules and guidelines

Areas of responsibilities and related activities:

  • Total 10 years of work experience and at least 5-8 years of experience in Institutional Sales preferably in Ophthalmic surgical equipment such as Intra Ocular Lens [IOL] business.
  • Must have market experience, in particular experience in Hospitals & Institutional Sales in Karnataka and good network of Hospitals. Must be familiar with local markets/Key towns.

Network of interaction:

  • Internal: This role will be working closely with colleagues from across the Sales teams, marketing, operations, customer service and finance-collections.
  • External: This role will be managing multiple external stakeholders.

Technical skills - portrait of a perfect candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University
  • Post-graduation in Management from a reputed business school is preferred.

Candidate profile:

  • Educational Background: Degree with competency in Sales – B2B, Institutions
  • Languages: Proficient in English and multilingual is preferred.
