Inside Sales Specialist

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our regional and country-level business operations. You'll be responsible for qualifying leads, preparing quotations, nurturing prospects, and ensuring smooth administrative processes. This role is ideal for a commercially savvy individual with strong communication skills and a passion for driving sales success.

Responsibilities

• Lead Qualification: Evaluate and distribute incoming leads according to established guidelines, ensuring timely follow-up by the appropriate Account Manager. • Sales Collaboration: Partner with Sales Managers and Territory Field Sales personnel to conduct joint qualification calls and align on annual objectives. • Opportunity Identification: Recognize valid sales opportunities and follow defined steps to ensure efficient qualification. • Sales Forecasting: Participate in forecast and sales calls, aligning with Sales Managers on order targets and strategies to exceed them. • CRM Expertise: Become proficient in Salesforce and other tools to enhance sales effectiveness. • Sales Strategy: Embrace and implement new sales techniques and strategies as directed. • Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of Malvern Panalytical's product portfolio to engage effectively with scientists, engineers, and academics. • Customer Engagement: Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers and nurture new prospects across key areas such as particle characterization, XRF, XRD, NIR, and contract analysis services. • Team Support: Provide additional support to the APAC Inside Sales team as needed. • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed established standards and metrics for the Inside Sales team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or higher in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science. • 2–4 years of related sales or applications experience. • Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus. • Strong verbal, listening, and questioning skills. • Proven track record in pipeline acceleration and lead nurturing. • High attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. • Knowledge of B2B marketing trends and non-English website marketing is advantageous.

• Self-motivated with a strong drive to grow in the role. • Experience in technical sales, analytical services, or contract research organizations (Life Sciences/Pharma preferred). • Ability to discuss and sell services effectively. • Willingness to go the extra mile with a high sense of urgency. • Commitment to continuous learning through induction, on-the-job training, and external development opportunities.
