Sales Specialist Portable Analytical Instrumentation

SciAps is establishing a network of global sales and service centers in key markets including a location in Perth, Western Australia and Sydney in NSW. SciAps, is a Boston-based instrumentation company specializing in portable analytical instruments to measure any element, any place on the planet. Our industry-leading X-ray fluorescence (XRF), laser-based (LIBS) and Vis-NIR-SWIR analyzers are at work across every major industry, including oil/gas, metals and mining, aerospace, battery and strategic metals (lithium, rare-earth elements), scrap metal recycling, chemical and petrochemical, military, forensics and law enforcement.

About the Role

Permanent Role. Office Based. AUD70-100k P.A plus 11% Super dependant on experience and qualifications. Also includes performance based commission program additional to base salary.

Report to Australia Sales Manager, SciAps Inc

Highly Desirable Skills:

• University degree or similar in Geology, Earth or Environmental Science, Physics, Chemistry, Plant Science, Metallurgy, and/or relevant work/trade experience.
• Previous experience working in sales preferable but not essential.
• Self Starter-able to work independently
• Must be prepared to travel Interstate and potentially overseas
• Hold appropriate licenses for working with X-Ray and Laser devices would be desirable but not essential
• Customer service experience
• High degree of familiarity with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint etc.
• Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM software desirable

• Australian citizen or permanent resident.
