Building Material Sales Associate

Our client, the building materials industry, is seeking a Building Material Sales Associate to join their team. As a Building Material Sales Associate, you will be part of the sales and customer service department supporting contractors and customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Tahoe City, CA

Pay Range: $25/hr

Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Build strong relationships with contractors and customers
• Respond to inquiries and prepare quotes and bids
• Coordinate deliveries with yard and driving teams
• Manage special orders and custom mill requests
• Keep inventory and order records organized and up to date

What's Needed?

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong math skills, especially for lumber sales
• Tech-savvy with building product software or eager to learn
• Clear, confident communication—written and verbal
• A team-first attitude with the ability to work independently
