Insurance Sales Producer

A leading insurance agency based in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, NY, is looking for a seasoned and experienced sales producer to join the team. Founded in 2010, they specialize in auto, home, and all types of business insurance. As a sales producer, you will work with in-house accounts, selling and writing personal and commercial insurance policies. Candidates should have a positive attitude, be able to multitask, develop relationships with clients, be able to stay organized and meet deadlines.

General Responsibilities:

• Online quotes
• Issuing/Filing policies
• ID cards
• Submissions
• Sales calls
• Information gathering and data entry
• Billing

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of career experience in commercial property and casualty insurance, customer service and policy administration background at an insurance company, wholesale broker, or agency.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills, and listening skills
• Experience working with a CRM such as Salesforce, QQCatalyst, AMS360 is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Base salary: $50k - $75k with average commission of $8k - $10k/month.
