Our client, a leading provider in the electrical and marine industries, is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join their team. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be part of the Customer Support and Sales Department supporting internal teams and external customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sales Support Specialist Location: Williamsburg, VA

What's the Job?

• Support customer accounts by inputting new orders and providing product quotations using internal software tools.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone and email regarding pricing, lead times, order status, and shipping documentation.
• Coordinate with the operations team to communicate customer requirements and updates on order progress.
• Manage daily case processes within Salesforce to ensure accurate and timely customer support.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure on-time delivery, address production issues, and support market demands effectively.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of experience in inside sales and marketing roles.
• Ability to interpret electrical plans and contract documents accurately.
• Strong customer communication skills and professional tact in stressful situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, and familiarity with digital tools like Salesforce, Vista, and SAP.
