Location: Athens, Greece Reporting: Business Development Manager
Key Objective: The Sales Support Officer plays a crucial role in assisting the sales team and ensuring the smooth functioning of the sales process. His/her responsibilities typically include a mix of administrative, customer service, and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating quotes, invoices, sales agreements, and other documents required by the sales team or clients
- Updating and maintaining customer information in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
- Compiling and analyzing sales data to help the sales team make informed decisions
- Responding to customer queries about products, services, pricing, and availability
- Addressing customer complaints or issues and escalating them to the appropriate team if necessary
- Acting as a liaison between the sales team and other departments such as marketing, logistics, and finance to streamline processes
- Supporting marketing campaigns or events that drive sales
- Tracking sales performance metrics, such as targets, quotas, and conversion rates
