Director Of Sales & Marketing

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, EICA Management. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. Position Title: Director of Sales & Marketing

Reports To: General Manager

Position Summary

The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the hotel's sales, marketing, and communication strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives. This role oversees all sales channels, marketing initiatives, and public relations activities to ensure brand consistency and business growth. The Director of Sales & Marketing works closely with EICA Management and Marriott International to position the property competitively and drive both transient and group business.

Main Responsibilities

•Lead all sales, marketing, and communication activities to achieve hotel revenue goals.

•Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, agencies, and community partners.

•Drive business from corporate, leisure, group, and MICE segments.

•Oversee digital marketing, advertising, and public relations efforts.

•Collaborate with Revenue Management and Operations to ensure strategic alignment.

At a Minimum, We Expect You To

•Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and networking events.

•Prepare monthly reports, forecasts, and marketing performance analyses.

•Manage the hotel's online presence and ensure consistent brand messaging.

•Coordinate photo shoots, press releases, and media relations.

•Supervise marketing materials, social media, and website updates.

•Mentor and motivate the Sales & Marketing team to meet performance standards.

Typical Qualifications & Skills

•Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management.

•Minimum 8–10 years' experience in hotel sales and marketing, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

•Proven track record in achieving revenue and market share goals.

•Expertise in digital marketing, media relations, and strategic partnerships.

•Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales software (Opera, Delphi, etc.).

•Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods; travel locally for sales calls and events; lift and carry promotional materials or office supplies up to 10 kg.

•Familiarity with Marriott brand standards and corporate marketing systems preferred.

Based on experience and qualification 5000 - 6000 USD per month
