Join Our Jlt Public Sector Team At Marsh

We are seeking a talented individual to join our JLT Public Sector team at Marsh. This role will be based in the Brisbane office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The JLT Public Sector division was initially established to manage the development and servicing of insurance, risk management and claims related programs for local government authorities throughout Australia.

The Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ) as Trustee of the LGM Queensland (LGM Liability and LGM Assets) and Local Government Workcare (LGW Workcare) mutuals has appointed JLT Public Sector as the Scheme Manager since the commencement of LGM Liability in 1994.

We will count on you to:

• Respond to LGM Liability members queries about liability covers
• Deliver the annual membership process and placement of scheme covers
• Assist with placement of ancillary covers where required by any member
• Assist with development of risk guidance materials for members

What you need to have:

• High School Certificate or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably in a broking/operational role, insurance-related or legal field
• Excellent customer service skills
• High level communication skills including interpersonal, negotiation, professional writing and consultation skills
• Ability to plan, organise and work independently with associated ability to prioritise work goals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
