Sales Planning And Sales Activities

Planning sales and actions to ensure the sales plan is met

  • Conducting sales planning for retail outlets on an annual and periodic basis.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase sales in the assigned territory.
  • Developing and agreeing with the ASM and distributor an annual business plan for all sales categories and channels in the assigned territory.
  • Developing and agreeing with distributors, as well as implementing various sales development projects for the Product on an ongoing basis.
  • Conducting negotiations with key traditional retail channel customers in the assigned territory to determine sales growth potential and increase product presence.
  • Conducting quarterly meetings with distributor representatives with key traditional retail channel customers.
  • Executing the sales plan in the assigned territory.
  • Conducting negotiations and full management of TOP clients in the territory. Planning and adherence to budgets (FOS, TE, POSM) in the territory.

Work with Distributor and Control of Their Obligations

  • Control of distributor warehouse facilities with Product to meet storage conditions.
  • Control of storage and placement of advertising equipment in retail outlets with the team, as well as accounting and movement of advertising equipment in the distributor's warehouse.
  • Resolution of daily issues in working with the distributor related to the conditions of the retail team's work, timeliness of payments, product delivery, etc.
  • Conducting negotiations with the distributor, including issues related to budgets and investments.
  • Evaluation of the distributor's IDP, development and control of the action plan for IDP.
  • Participation in the selection, motivation of the team of trade agents to achieve the set parameters for distribution, dissemination of trade and advertising equipment (displays) and ensuring the delivery of Products to retail outlets in the assigned territory.
  • Training and management of the distributor team of 10 people.
  • Optimization of routes, development and agreement with the ASM of the organizational structure for the optimal delivery of Products to retail outlets in the assigned territory.
  • Conducting individual and group (auditory) training sessions for all team members to achieve the KPI.
  • Regular completion of the form for field training.
  • Ensuring high-quality and complete data entry in the agreed reporting system.
  • Participation in the discussion and evaluation of the work of the distributor's trade personnel.
  • Conducting meetings with the distributor's trade personnel team.
  • Verification of the fulfillment of guarantees declared by distributors in contracts with the distributor and other agreements regarding the material provision of distributor employees, including issues of wages, fuel, depreciation of personal property, correctness of their accrual and connection in reporting periods.
  • Verification of distributors regarding the number of distributor employees working to sell and stimulate the sale of Products, the sizes of the payments made by them and the correctness of their accrual.
  • Verification of the primary documents of distributors confirming their expenses for stimulating the sale of Products in retail outlets.
  • Conducting audits in retail outlets to verify the fulfillment of the declared actions by distributors to stimulate the sale of Products.
  • Approval of all distributor applications for the production of advertising and trade equipment intended for the sale of Products and stimulating their sale.
  • Verification of the correctness of the distribution of distributor data related to the stimulation of the sale of Products in retail outlets, by types of budgets approved by LLC "MARS UKRAINE".

Management Of The Budget For Trade Investments And Trade Equipment On The Reporting Territory

  • Adherence to the established budget framework.
  • Agreement with the ASM on exceeding the sizes of the established payments, compensations, discounts related to the stimulation of product sales.
  • Planning Company trade investments for the year in the assigned territory. Tracking and controlling budget expenditure, submitting the necessary report on budget expenditure.

Monitoring Of Product Presentation Under Company Trademarks And Field Audits

  • Together with the trade agent or merchandiser (with the trade personnel team of the distributor) visiting retail outlets to expand the assortment, improve the display and control the constant presence of the agreed assortment in the distributor's warehouse and in retail outlets.
  • Conducting field audits (at least 200 retail outlets per period) and training (at least 4 per period), supported by documentation in accordance with the established format.
