Marvin is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead our go-to-market strategy, drive new health system partnerships, and accelerate growth across our mental health and wellness solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role for a strategic and empathetic sales executive with a proven record of success selling into complex healthcare organizations.
The ideal candidate combines strategic enterprise sales experience with the ability to coach and scale a team, optimize sales operations, and build long-term client relationships. They understand how to position behavioral health and wellbeing solutions within a hospital or employer benefits framework and can confidently engage C-suite executives across the healthcare ecosystem.
Lead Marvin's sales strategy and execution to achieve aggressive revenue growth targets and expand market share within hospitals and health systems.
Own the full sales lifecycle β from prospecting and pipeline management through contract negotiation and closing β while collaborating closely with client success to ensure seamless handoff and retention.
Develop and refine sales processes, playbooks, and performance metrics to ensure scalable, repeatable success.
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales and business development team built on accountability, collaboration, and mission alignment.
Build and manage executive-level relationships with key healthcare leaders, including Chief Medical Officers, Chief Wellness Officers, Chief Clinical Officers, and HR executives.
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Client Success, and Product to align go-to-market efforts and ensure Marvin's value proposition resonates with customer needs.
Drive channel and partnership initiatives, including consultant and benefits broker relationships, to expand reach and accelerate adoption.
Represent Marvin externally at conferences, industry events, and thought leadership forums to elevate brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
Forecast and report on sales performance, providing insights, KPIs, and strategic recommendations to leadership and board stakeholders.

Compensation
150-230 Base Salary
Substantial Performance Incentive over base
Equity
15+ years of healthcare sales experience, with a strong track record selling to hospitals, health systems, and enterprise employers.
10+ years of progressive management experience, leading sales and/or business development teams.
Proven success navigating enterprise sales cycles β from stakeholder mapping to closing β with C-suite decision makers.
Experience selling behavioral health, wellbeing, or employer benefits solutions strongly preferred.
Startup and scale-stage experience, ideally with a company transitioning from Series A to Series B and beyond.
Demonstrated ability to build and manage a sales organization, drive quota attainment, and execute go-to-market strategies.
Strong analytical and storytelling skills, using data to communicate performance and influence stakeholders.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally to align sales strategy with marketing, product, and client success.
