Job Description Summary We are hiring a Boston–based Sales Director to drive political demand, focusing on candidate, issue advocacy, and government affairs. You'll prospect political agencies, engage existing clients, and target political buyers to grow revenue across the Freewheel marketplace, working with programmatic, activation, CTV, strategy, and investment teams. Collaboration across Comcast will be essential. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, with strong political relationships and experience from a programmatic CTV or ad-tech company. This is a virtual role; however, candidates must be located in Boston to be eligible.
This role is perfect for someone with a passion for programmatic and CTV and who has experience in driving revenue in the ad tech world.
5-7years of sales experience in ad-tech, specifically SSPs, DSPs, ad exchanges brands and political agencies
Programmatic and CTV experience required
Political experience required
Supply-side platform (SSP) or exchange experience strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a meticulous attention to detail
A strong learning curve, with the ability to understand a customer's needs on both the business and technical sides.
A passion for customer success and track record of happy, growing customers
Self-motivated with high energy and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Strong organizational skills, preferably with hands-on CRM experience
Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to wear many hats and a strong desire to build something great.
Compensation Range: $220,000 – $240,000 annually (maximum); final offer may be below target range based on candidate profile. Compensation structure is a 50/50 split between base salary and variable incentive.
