These accounts have complex infrastructure requirements, and you will be selling into multiple programs, including product owners and technology teams. You will be responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration of our database portfolio. In this role, you will influence customers to build, shape, and accelerate their AWS Database business. As a Database Solutions Specialist, you will develop and execute strategies to drive adoption of AWS's key database solutions, including: relational databases (Amazon Aurora, Amazon RDS), purpose-built databases (Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon DocumentDB, Amazon Neptune), caching (Amazon ElastiCache), and database migration services (AWS DMS). He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work across the business to set vision, objectives and to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and desire to dive deep is a must.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
