Job Description
Within our Compressors & Air Tools division, we are currently seeking a Sales Operations Manager to play a vital role in supporting our sales team. This dynamic position involves collaborating closely with our Sales Leadership and Account Management teams to contribute to the development of line reviews, presentations, and margin analysis preparation, as well as product quotations. You will be responsible for maintaining essential calendars and overseeing promotional schedules. Join us and make a significant impact on our sales operations.
Principle Responsibilities
- Schedule, prepare documentation, and moderate bi-monthly revenue call with sales leadership
- Maintain profile and contracts for all sales agencies.
- Processing and monitoring sales requests for product samples and images, working closely with Product Managers.
- Assisting Customer Service in resolving order fulfillment issues by liaising with the Sourcing Group and customers.
- Maintain an active repository for all customer promotional allowances, rebates, and pricing programs.
- Manage meeting schedule, documentation, and moderation of OTIF (On Time in Full) meeting monthly
- Assist Sales at trade shows, including booth setup, teardown, and representing MAT as a Sales Representative when necessary.
- Capture and analyze customer point of sale (POS) data, inventory levels, price points, store counts, and rate of sale
- Build and maintain customer profiles for all major customers
- Analyzes multiple data points for sales trends, changes, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain POS daily, weekly, and monthly reports for all significant aftermarket customers
- Create a POS dashboard to distribute monthly
- Articulate and present POS observations to multiple levels within the organization
- Prepare forecasting templates to be used by all departments
- Generating reports for the sales and marketing departments, including inventory, sales, and purchasing data for customers.
- Occasional travel to MAT sites and customer locations, up to 25% annually.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications

- High proficiency in the use of Excel, SAP, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and organized manner.
- Meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness.
- The ability to gather facts quickly and make informed decisions.
- Strong organizational skills, including the capacity to plan and manage multiple projects effectively.
- A proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, take initiative, and operate independently when necessary.
- A commitment to learning and adaptability, with a willingness to embrace change
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of work experience with consumer product companies in sales or sales enablement-type roles
