Sales Assistant A

Job Title: Part-time Visitor Services Assistant

Greet visitors and respond to general inquiries with a welcoming attitude which includes responding to incoming emails and calls.

Process sales transactions and balance cash at the end of shift.

Receive and distribute mail and packages.

Tour the galleries and monitor activity.

Set up displays, restock merchandise.

Must be available to work Tuesday and/or Thursday mornings.

Location: Montreal, Quebec

Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed as a 4 on a scale of 0-4.

Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma Minimal or No Related Experience

Hourly Salary: (AMUSE A) $16.45

Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week: 5 (Part time)

Position Start Date: 2025-08-07

Position End Date: 2025-12-31
