A Day in the Life

If you are in search of an exciting opportunity to leverage your career in sales, Medtronic, the world's largest medical device company, has the ideal position for you. As a Sales Executive II, you will have the chance to be part of an innovative team that contributes to the transformation of global health. The work regime is dynamic and the territory of operation is São Paulo, with direct and indirect customer service for our portfolio of ACM that is divided into materials for patient monitoring and respiratory interventions.

The responsibilities of the position must include the activities below and others may be assigned:

  • Promote and sell Medtronic products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets, being responsible for developing, building and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals
  • Prospect leads, assess needs and provide services and products to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic products and/or services, managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring the fulfillment of established sales targets
  • Develop action plans to achieve sales objectives and prepare detailed performance reports and sales forecasts, in addition to providing continuous technical support to customers, including follow-up of procedures performed in hospital settings, when necessary
  • Promote and establish instructions regarding the company's products and/or services: conduct technical demonstrations and training for customers, ensuring adequate understanding of the functionality and benefits of the solutions in the Acute Care & Monitoring portfolio
  • Conduct market research, including customers and competitor activities, implementing market development plans and strategies and making changes as necessary, working closely with marketing, services and functional areas to ensure customer needs are met
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations and Marketing

Experiences and knowledge required:

  • Complete higher education (nursing or physical therapy degrees are preferred)
  • Experience in direct and indirect sales
  • Mandatory B driver's license
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, as well as ability to work with Excel spreadsheets and create PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to deal with and interact with healthcare professionals
  • Intermediate English is desirable
  • Experience in sales of medical-hospital devices intended for use in the operating room and ICU will be considered as a differential
