Job Title: Veterinary Sales Representative

We are looking for a Veterinary Sales Representative for the Antwerpen region within our Animal Health sales department.

The Veterinary Sales Representative is responsible for the sales of Companion Animal products, services, and customer relationships in the assigned region.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Achieving all agreed objectives (quantitative and qualitative) in line with the objectives of the Business Unit and ensuring sustainable growth in all products within the portfolio of our Companion Animal Health department.
  • Maintaining, supporting, and developing a long-term, trust-based collaboration with veterinarians and other stakeholders in the region.
  • Developing 'value added services' with veterinarians in the region with the goal of achieving high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and a high share in the portfolio of AH products within the region.
  • Implementing and following up on all activities with veterinarians in accordance with the company's policies and standards and in compliance with Belgian laws and regulations.

Sales Objectives:

Building and maintaining partnerships with customers and ensuring customer satisfaction, trust, and loyalty to selected products.

Responsible for achieving or exceeding sales results related to the assigned portfolio of products and services.

Customer Management:

Creating and maintaining strong partnerships and trust on short and long term, stimulating customer satisfaction and loyalty to AH.

Managing interactions with targeted customers that are meaningful, current, scientifically valuable, and relevant to each individual customer (tailored) based on an understanding of their needs and the strategic direction and guidance of the Companion Animal Business Unit.

Understanding and anticipating customer needs and ensuring that customer insights are recognized within the strategic discussions of the Companion Animal Business Unit.

Implementing and executing tailored activities that will support the growth of the company in the veterinary sector in accordance with the direction of the Companion Animal Business Unit and Belgian laws and regulations for the segment.

Education & Experience:

Scientific education

Minimum 3 years of commercial experience (preferably in the sector)

  • Segmentation, targeting, budget management

Professional Selling Skills:

  • Questioning techniques
  • Active listening skills
  • Impactful and meaningful dialogue

Language Skills:

  • Dutch, English
