About the Role

Silicon Valley's top AI companies work with Mercor to find domain experts who can help train and evaluate their models. You'll join Mercor as an Account Executive, partnering closely with our Strategic Projects Leads (SPLs) and GTM teams to win and expand relationships with Fortune 500 enterprises and high-growth startups across North America. Based in San Francisco, you'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting through close—bringing Mercor's transformative hiring platform to the world's leading AI organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build pipeline across Fortune 500 and high-growth startups in North America using a mix of outbound, referrals, and events.
  2. Conduct discovery calls, live demos, and solution presentations; negotiate contracts; shepherd deals through legal and procurement.
  3. There's no fixed quota—your success is measured by the new business you bring in. Every closed client earns commission.
  4. Collaborate with Strategic Projects Leads to scope custom engagements and with Sales Ops, Marketing, and Customer Success to align on pipeline generation and account handoff.
  5. Engage C-level and senior research leaders at top AI labs to understand their evolving talent-training needs and identify opportunities for account expansion.
  6. Relay market insights and customer feedback to help us continuously improve the Mercor platform.

What Are We Looking For?

  • 2+ years' enterprise SaaS or tech-enabled services sales experience, ideally selling into large enterprises or venture-backed startups.
  • Proven ability to work independently, managing one's own tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree

Compensation

  • Base cash comp from $100K-$140k
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE) targeted at 100% of base
  • Equity grant vested over 4 years
  • A $20K relocation bonus (if moving to the Bay Area)
  • A $10K housing bonus (if you live within 0.5 miles of our office)
