Meta is seeking an experienced Sales and Go-to-Market (GTM) leader to spearhead our cross-channel Business Messaging go-to-market and Sales strategy. Business Messaging Enterprise consists of both our Ads solutions (e.g., click-to Ads and Paid Messaging Marketing Messages in Meta) and non-Ads solutions (e.g., authentication and utilities). This role will be directly accountable for driving the GTM strategy and decision-making by collaborating with a large Product, Sales, and partner XFN team to impact top-line goals across this important priority area. The leader will set the agenda, build the roadmap, and be accountable for the vision while driving Meta's product GTM levers and revenue goals. We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Sales leader with proven track record in leading Enterprise Sales and GTM teams and launching and accelerating 0-1 products then scaling through a mix of influencing products and processes as well as integrating the Business Messaging priority and Enterprise motion with company-wide systems, tools and resources. They will have a deep understanding and familiarity with Ad-Tech and business messaging trends and technologies, including non-marketing Paid Messaging products. A critical success factor for this role is the ability to work in close partnership with the VP of Product and the product team, ensuring continuous alignment and collaboration to shape the product roadmap based on market insights and customer needs. They should have experience partnering closely with a product team to provide market feedback and influence the product roadmap, and be able to enable and unblock the Sales and Partner teams to achieve their goals.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Messaging GTM Sales and Partner strategy that aligns with Meta's overall topline goals and objectives.
Long term GTM and Resource Planning: Drives GTM long term planning agenda and is able to ensure responsible investment across GTM functions to drive sustainable impact and achieve our long term objectives.
Go-To-Market Execution: Partner with key Product, Sales, Partner and XFN leaders to ensure alignment on vision, strategy and priorities to ensure clear communication and execution across teams. Collaborate with XFN teams including, marketing, sales, and partnerships teams to provide market feedback, influence the Business Messaging Product roadmap, drive go-to-market Sales and Partner governance and rhythm of business and expand our business messaging offerings.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Project Management: Drives extreme clarity on priorities and streamlines decision making on XFN team aligned to program management and unblocks barriers to ensure successful execution and alignment with company goals.
Innovation and Growth: Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth and innovation in Business Messaging.
Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive accountability.
Sales Enablement: Accountable for the delivery and health of the Business Messaging Sales enablement and training strategy of the sales organisation.
10+ years of experience in a strategic leadership role, preferably in a technology or software company.
Direct Sales: 5+ years of experience in building and leading Enterprise Sales and/or in Partner Sales teams.
Proven experience working with Product teams to launch new products from 0 to 1, identifying key market insights and trends to support innovation and scale.
Track Record: Proven success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and leading cross-functional teams.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of business messaging trends, technologies, and market dynamics.
Influence and Collaboration: Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills. Able to drive strategy and decision-making with executive peers across the org and across Meta.
Project Management: Ability to lead teams to run 0-1 and 1-10 projects, with a focus on delivering results-oriented initiatives.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Background in enterprise sales, including solution selling and negotiating multifaceted deals, and a demonstrated capacity to adjust and scale sales methods in response to evolving and shifting go-to-market priorities.
Demonstrated ability to navigate and excel in uncertain and ambiguous environments.
Experience working with large global, cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus.
Experience in a high-growth, startup environment.
Familiarity with Meta's suite of products and services.
Strong network within the business messaging and technology communities.
