Description of the Position

Reporting to the Origination Manager of MET Energie France, you will play a central role in the development of the Origination Department.

Your mission:

The Origination Department is responsible for developing commercial relationships with three types of clients: large industrial accounts, energy producers, and alternative suppliers.

By joining us, you will have multiple and ambitious responsibilities across the team's activities:

• Accompany the Origination Manager to detect and analyze market opportunities with different types of targeted clients.
• Coordinate MET France's actions in close collaboration with the trading teams and Operations, Finance, and IT departments.
• Imagine impactful commercial proposals and contracts tailored to client needs.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes.
• Participate in projects related to MET France's supplier activities.
• Explore new leads, markets, and partnerships.

Qualifications

Your profile:

• You are a student at a business school, engineering school, or university. Study level: Engineering school / Master's / Bachelor's + 5
• You have exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work in a complex environment
• Previous experience in the energy sector or in financial markets/commodities is a plus
• Good knowledge of English
• You are curious, want to learn, discover new things every day, and try to master them.

The internship duration will be a minimum of 6 months. An alternating format is also possible.
