Job Summary
Location: Shared Services Address: 1725 S. 20th Street. - Omaha, NE Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00am to 5:00pm Works under the direct supervision of the Director of Sales. Responsibilities include sales and account prospecting of SSS products and services to new and existing accounts as assigned.
Responsibilities
1. Maintains consistent profit and volume growth in assigned accounts through performance of daily direct sales activities in assigned territory.
- Schedules sales calls.
- Provides product knowledge and demonstrations.
- Makes cold calls looking for new accounts.
- Maintains accurate customer records.
- Solves customer problems and fulfills requests by facilitating open communication between customers and SSS departments.
- Travels to site locations regularly to service customer accounts.
- Maintains knowledge of client accounts and territory market/needs.
2. Maintains collaborative relationships and works with vendor sales reps to arrange sales calls and presentations.
3. Prepares and maintains accurate expense reports, daily sales call reports as required by Sales Management, customer account records and files, and submits mileage reports in a timely fashion.
4. Constantly strives to increase product knowledge and sales abilities by:
- Attending and participating in sales meetings.
- Attends conferences and training courses as required.
- Works with manufacture reps.
- Keeps current on EOL - Education on Line - product education.
- Seeks out new products and product knowledge as appropriate.

Education
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) required.
- College degree preferred.
- Sales experience may be substituted for education.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years in sales experience required.
- Prior computer experience in Microsoft Office applications and sales/inventory systems required.
License/Certifications
- Valid and current Driver's License required.
- Current proof of automobile insurance coverage required.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to manage work schedule/time, priorities, and resources to achieve goals.
- Ability to build and maintain customer satisfaction thru collaboration, communication, and consistent service.
- Skill in the use of personal computers and standard office equipment.
- Proficiency in the use of sales applications (B2B, Prophet21).
- Able to convey a professional image at all times.
