Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and penetrate target markets.
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop sales managers, key account managers, and individual contributors to ensure high performance and accountability.
KPI Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (funnel size, close rates, productivity, velocity) to drive results.
Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in core and adjacent markets.
Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and internal stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product development, and marketing to align offerings with customer needs and industry trends.
Sales Cycle Oversight: Manage complex capital equipment sales cycles from lead generation through negotiation and post-sale support.
Pricing & Contracts: Collaborate on pricing strategies, margin targets, and contract terms to meet company objectives.
Market Analysis: Analyze market dynamics, customer data, and competitor activity to guide decision-making.
Industry Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry associations.
Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance sales processes and team performance.
Order Coordination: Oversee order entry and ensure production forecasts are met.

Experience: 7+ years in capital equipment sales and sales management, ideally within metal fabrication or related industries. Need to have managed MANAGERS, not just Sales Reps.
Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, customer orientation, and analytical ability. Familiarity with CRM and e-business tools.
Lean Practices: Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
Travel: Up to 50% for trade shows and customer visits.

Competitive salary ranging from $170,000 to $180,000 on base. (Bonus is additional)
