Job Description

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the construction and equipment rental sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across New England. Identify market trends and opportunities to expand the customer base. Conduct site visits to understand client needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery. Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales goals. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics to senior leadership. Stay informed on industry developments and competitor offerings.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Outside Salesperson should have:

  • Proven track record in sales within the construction or equipment rental industry.
  • Experience selling heavy machinery or related services - REQUIRED.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans.
  • High level of self-motivation and goal orientation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
