Job Description

1. Leadership, Management & Accountability (20%)

  • Senior team contributor; sets KPIs and manages accountability for growth-related functions
  • Builds alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Engineering
  • Coaches team members and builds succession/bench strength
  • Tracks growth-related financial metrics and provides actionable insights

2. Strategic Growth & Business Development (40%)

  • Owns overall growth strategy including market expansion and new revenue streams
  • Channel and customer development efforts
  • Leads strategic partnerships with OEMs, reps, distributors, and national accounts
  • Conducts market/competitor analysis and develops 3-5 year GTM roadmaps

3. Sales & Marketing Integration (30%)

  • Drives sales and marketing alignment, conversion, and velocity
  • Oversees brand presence, lead generation, and campaign performance
  • Ensures that technical storytelling and product positioning are impactful and consistent

4. Product Insight & Innovation Leadership (10%)

  • Understands G&G's product at a technical level
  • Leverages customer and market feedback to drive product strategy and innovation
  • Supports new product development and technical partnership discussions

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years in senior growth/sales/marketing roles, preferably in industrial or engineered product settings
  • Bachelor's in Engineering or technical field (MBA preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in building GTM strategies and leading multifunctional teams
  • Strong technical grasp of product application and value propositions
  • Savvy and experienced in managing multi-segment sales operations
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional leader

Reports to: CEO Direct Reports: Director of Sales - National Sales Manager - Industrial, Director of Marketing, Sales Engineer Location: Ballston Spa, NY (assumed) Compensation: $180K-$220K base + performance-based incentive plan Function: Executive leadership over all growth initiatives spanning sales, marketing, product strategy, and partnerships.
