Team Leadership & Performance: Mentor and guide a team toward achieving sales targets and driving profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal engineering teams to refine product designs, ensuring manufacturability and high performance within the organization's capabilities.
Quoting & Supply Chain Strategy: Lead the development and improvement of technical quoting systems and supply chain methodologies to enhance responsiveness and accuracy.
Opportunity Management: Ensure that high-value projects are well-defined, properly resourced, and effectively communicated across relevant departments.
Escalation Point: Serve as the escalation contact for both internal teams and external clients.
Executive Communication: Provide comprehensive technical and program-level updates to senior leadership, as needed.
Required: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related discipline) or equivalent-10+ years of relevant technical experience across engineering, supply chain, or technical sales roles.
Preferred: Minimum of 5 years in leadership or technical sales management. Experience in precision manufacturing is a distinct advantage. Excellent technical communication-both written and verbal-with the ability to simplify complex engineering concepts for diverse audiences. Strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments. Analytical thinker with a focus on data-driven decisions and root cause analysis. Demonstrated leadership experience in cross-functional teams involving technical, supply chain, or account management. High sense of accountability, urgency, and ownership regarding outcomes. Comfortable making decisions that may involve trade-offs or be unpopular, always grounded in business needs.
