General Description Of Position: The role of a sales administrator is to manage incoming customer inquiries and support the outside sales force with daily sales administration activities. This includes processing a high volume of orders accurately. Processing invoices for all sales transactions, setting pricing and verifying contracts are up to date. The administrator works directly with the customer on bookings, entry and has wide latitude of communications with Vice President and internal staff. This position will perform a wide range of inside sales duties related to the daily operations of the sales department. The sales administrator is often the final check for prices, delivery dates and customer expedites and may manage several small customers. They liaise with other departments, collect large past due accounts and research new product offerings.
Enters and maintains sales records or customer changes by obtaining required information; verifies accuracy of sales and credit teams. Liaise with Japan colleagues on a daily basis via email or video call. Acts as a liaison between customers and production in problem solving and expediting local orders.
