The Team Lead, Direct Sales is a critical leadership role within GM Energy, reporting directly to the Group Manager, Direct Sales. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of Home Energy Consultants (HECs), ensuring they meet performance targets, adhere to sales best practices, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. The Team Lead will focus on performance management, sales effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, ensuring the success of their assigned team within the broader Direct Sales organization.

1+ years of experience in sales leadership or team lead roles, preferably in direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales. Proven track record in managing and coaching sales teams, with a focus on B2C energy, home services, or EV-related products. Specifically at GM Energy preferred. A deep understanding of GM Energy's residential sales and GTM process as well as existing relationships that will allow for quick onboarding preferred. Strong understanding of sales metrics, CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), and sales enablement best practices. Experience in call monitoring, performance coaching, and structured sales training methodologies. Ability to analyze data-driven insights to improve individual and team performance. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and engage sales professionals. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Knowledge of EV charging networks, home energy storage, and energy efficiency products is a plus. Willingness to travel up to 10-15% for training, team meetings, and field coaching.

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington. The expected base compensation for this role is ($80,700.00 - $109,400.00) USD Annually. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
