DTC Sales Representative
The Direct to Consumer (DTC) Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in driving sales and enhancing customer engagement through both inbound and outbound calls. This position is responsible for providing exceptional service, driving new patient enrollment, and executing sales campaigns to promote products and services. This role involves educating potential and existing customers on product offerings, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting individual sales targets. A high degree of professionalism, product knowledge, and empathy is required to effectively communicate with end users and clinicians regarding health care products and services.
Major areas of accountability include:
- Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, servicing both new and existing customers.
- Engaging in lead generation from referrals, online ads, and other marketing campaigns; following up with product offerings.
- Providing clear, professional communication about product applications, medical procedures, and troubleshooting issues with end users, clinics, and medical offices.
- Supporting patients in enrolling in Comfort Medical Services and assisting them in choosing the best products for their needs.
- Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of product offerings, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Demonstrating effective sales techniques to drive conversions and meet set activity and sales goals.
- Collaborating with field and internal teams to strengthen customer relationships and meet sales objectives.
- Providing education on distribution, reimbursement, and insurance policies related to product offerings.
- Documenting all customer interactions thoroughly, ensuring high data quality and self-auditing of work.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records in CRM systems and documentation software.
- Providing reporting and feedback on campaign performance and customer feedback.
- Adhering to corporate and departmental policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Engaging in ongoing training to improve product knowledge and sales strategies.

Basic qualifications include:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and achieving performance metrics.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex product information to end users with clarity and empathy.
- Willingness to engage in telephone sales and marketing activities.
- Must demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an ability to handle challenging customer situations with professionalism.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting all work and interactions.
Preferred qualifications include:
- 2-4 years of experience in a contact center or sales environment, preferably in healthcare or medical sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with intermediate computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry practices and regulations is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and systems like Brightree is a plus.
