Executive Director, Sales

The Executive Director, Sales will lead a team comprised of sales leaders accountable for all direct outbound sales, sales solutions engineering and indirect channel sales, ultimately performing new business development and account management responsibilities across North America. This role will be key in defining the go-to-market strategy and driving new business, upsell and cross-sell revenue for all Teletrac Navman products and solutions. This role will collaborate frequently with peers based in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand regions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Set, communicate, and execute upon Teletrac Navman's sales strategy for the North America region
  • Meet and exceed revenue and volume objectives, having responsibility and oversight for North America revenue quotas
  • Manage all sales planning and forecasting activities, ensuring a high-level of predictability and accuracy of data
  • Analyze performance against plan, ensuring short- and long-term measures are taken to keep on track and drive continuous improvement
  • Build, lead and sustain a world class sales organization, attracting, developing, and retaining top talent
  • Understand Teletrac Navman client's business drivers and strategies, gathering voice of customer and ensuring clear alignment and feedback loops with Teletrac Navman product development and engineering functions
  • Regularly meet with and understand the needs of Teletrac Navman customers including their business objectives and product utilization
  • Partner with the product development, marketing, and customer support organizations to align roadmaps, customer retention planning and growth strategies

Qualifications

Required Skills / Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in varying direct and indirect sales leadership roles
  • 7+ years' experience selling SaaS, IoT (hardware and software) or technology solution selling environments
  • Proven experience formulating and executing sales strategies
  • History of meeting and exceeding financial commitments and objectives
  • Strong communicator with the ability to present strategic and operational results to C-Level customers, internal leadership, and employees
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, adapt to change, and provide appropriate follow-through to effectively drive business results
  • Ability to create followership through collaboration – creating an environment where people strive for excellence
  • Frequent domestic travel may be required

The base compensation range for this position is $164,800 to $250,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.

For this specific role, you may be eligible to participate in the sales/commission plan at a rate of 30% - 50% of the base salary.
