Outside Sales Executive

An Outside Sales Executive is a forward-thinking, incentive driven, sales powerhouse. They seek out new business through outside and inside sales efforts as well as maintain existing business relationships. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Outside Sales Executive will focus on building and cultivating relationships. Responsibilities include:

  • Building, maintaining, and managing account relationships through constant contact and advocacy
  • Offering solutions and solving problems for client's shipping needs
  • Qualifying new prospects via inside and outside sales effort
  • Making sales presentations to prospective and existing customers
  • Engaging prospective clients at all levels
  • Reaching and exceeding targeted revenue goals by closing new business and growing existing client business
  • Building interpersonal relationships with key internal stakeholders across the business

Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of direct sales and business development experience
  • Transportation/logistics experience required
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
  • Aggressive and competitive nature
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Quick learner who is successful at multi-tasking
  • Proven "take charge performer" who has both initiative and a strong bias for action
  • Enjoys and thrives in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent ability in personal interaction
  • Proactively offers advice and solutions in solving client's problems
