About the Role
The EP Division within Rhythm Solutions at Boston Scientific supports physicians treating and patients dealing with complex cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation. The goal of the Principal Sales Training Specialist role is to support the growth of a best-in-market EP field force through robust training and continuous development programs. This role will design and lead blended learning experiences-both virtual and in-person-providing the field with opportunities to build proficiency through classroom instruction, facilitated workshops, hands-on practice, and real-world experiences in Electrophysiology Labs and Mobile Training Labs. These programs will involve existing technologies, such as the OPAL HDx Mapping System, in addition to the newly approved FARAPULSE PFA System, which has quickly become a market leading technology since its launch in February. Boston Scientific has a best-in-class sales force in the cardiology space, and this role will play an integral part in ensuring our field force continues to learn and develop at a pace that matches the growth of the division.
Key Responsibilities
Building and Developing of both small-scale and large-scale training programs: Ensuring there are appropriate objectives for both learners and instructors/SMEs. Building a continuous feedback system to understand learner performance and overall program effectiveness. Consistent refinement of the programs based on evolving needs of field. Ensuring appropriate number of facilitators are scheduled to support. Continuous evaluation of training programs, instructors/SMEs, and delivery channels to ensure they meet the needs of Sales Training. Building and/or updating content and curriculum to match the needs of the programs. Facilitating training programs (virtual and in-person), including leading instructor-led sessions, guiding hands-on activities, managing learner engagement, and ensuring consistent delivery of content across audiences and modalities. Daily collaboration with several other groups to include: Sales Training - Field Training and Classroom Instruction Leads Field Sales Marketing Physician Education Cardiology Division Training Partners
Job Requirements:
Fully remote based, but travel to training locations required. Approximately 50% overnight travel required. Facilitate in-person and virtual classrooms. Work collaboratively within the team and with other business functions.

Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of Medical Device Sales (Cardiology preferred, but not required). Mapping Experience Single-shot ablation therapy experience Transseptal and/or imaging experience Proven track record in KOL and electrophysiology customer engagement Strong program management & organizational skills Proven work experience as a trainer, training facilitator and/or coordination of multiple training events Demonstrated skills in effectively conducting training in the following forums: one-on-one, classroom or virtual learning utilizing Teams and other web conferencing tools. Experience in the cardiology space and working knowledge and interest in the evolving healthcare landscape.
