We are looking to employ an experienced Business Development Director (BDD) to manage our business development team and ensure that inside sales operations run smoothly. The BDD's responsibilities include providing ongoing professional development opportunities for the inside sales staff, motivating the business development team to achieve appropriate activity and sales targets, and, in partnership with sales operations, developing an effective step-by-step process of nurturing leads and generating qualified lead as well as opportunities for the sales team. To be successful as BDD, you should have strong leadership skills and ensure that business development representatives (BDRs) comply with company policies. Ultimately, an exceptional BDD should be able to communicate effectively with the team, peers and customers as well as demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
