Sales Planning Manager

Your role at Clorox:

The Sales Planning Manager is responsible for developing and deploying a cross-channel business plan for the assigned Category and/or Brand. Works with Sales Planning Director, Sales Planning Team Leader and 3D Planning team to influence development of 18-month Category Plan. This posting is open to pipeline talent within our Sales Planning Team Manager roles.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage our People as Business Owners: Coaches, develops, empowers team members as appropriate. Develop individual capabilities to promote growth. 30%
  • Drive the Business: Owns cross channel Business Plan for Category or Brand. Exhibits cross-functional leadership and Customer perspective. Responsible to advocate for assigned customers. 20%
  • Customer and Category Planning: Recommends integrated customer plan and supports business plan release for assigned Category/Brand. Works with 3D team to influence development of 18 month plan. 30%
  • Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste: deploy tools, processes, resources to support organization. 20%

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of CPG experience
  • Clorox internal (Sales Planning) or equivalent experience
  • Clorox external (Field/Customer) experience beneficial
  • Strong Category knowledge
  • Consultative/Solution selling
  • Category Business Planning and Insights (Diamond Planning process)
  • Understanding of key Clorox process

Workplace type:

The Talent for this opportunity will be primarily within Clorox Hub locations and is open to remote top talent. If you reside within 50 miles of Clorox Hub, you will be in office 3x per week.
