Your key responsibilities will include: analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights; identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these to our clients; learning and researching current market trends, to maintain your credibility as a trusted advisor; developing clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve our clients' tax activities; researching our clients' business operations and building long-lasting relationships to tailor your advice to their specific needs; participating on a motivated team of professionals.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have: a predicted undergraduate or graduate degree with a concentration in Finance, Economics, International Business, or a related field; a strong academic record including, without limitation, coursework that EY deems relevant to this position; excellent communication skills, proficiency in basic MS Office tools, and strong writing skills, with business fluency in the English language; proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; the ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects; the ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs. Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver's license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.

Ideally, you will have: proficiency in a technology-enabled environment; knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $75,000 to $100,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
