NA & ANZ Sales Systems Strategy Lead
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
- Lead a cross-functional mission team responsible for shaping the strategic direction of sales rep processes and systems, enabling a DSO culture and empowering 900+ customer-facing employees;
- Develop and execute strategy and launch plans for global CRM and other commercial systems, driving impact for over 1,000 North American users and maximizing a ~$30M CapEx and ~$10M OpEx investment, focusing on the 2-4 year roadmap;
- Align regional and global initiatives into CRM and business process strategy to support continued business growth and digital transformation;
- Ensure systems are designed to enable well-structured, scalable business processes through deep collaboration with commercial stakeholders;
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT, translating business needs into system requirements and ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose;
- Integrate AI and other emerging technologies into the systems strategy to enhance user experience, data-driven decision-making, and commercial effectiveness;
- Represent North America and ANZ in global Business Enablement forums, advocating for regional needs and future capabilities;
- Provide strategic input on mid- and long-term commercial systems planning, ensuring alignment with broader business initiatives;
- Provide coaching/guidance to a team responsible for delivering on the strategic roadmap.
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree;
- Strong understanding of commercial business processes across North America in both seed and crop protection;
- Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships with leadership and influence across functions, stakeholders, and regions;
- Experience in process optimization and translating business needs into system requirements;
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and project management skills;
- Ability to lead through peer influence and drive alignment across global and regional teams;
- Strong leadership presence with a collaborative mindset and ability to serve as a liaison between business and IT;
- Agile, proactive, and comfortable navigating complex, matrixed environments;
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving system adoption and change management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in commercial or business roles;
- Familiarity with AI and emerging digital tools and their application in commercial systems strategy;
- Proven experience in digital product strategy and delivery, including CRM and other commercial systems.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $146,773.60 - $220,160.40. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
