Sales Coach

We're looking for an experienced Sales Coach to join our Global GTM Enablement team. In this role, you'll focus on coaching sellers in live selling situations, with a particular emphasis on helping new hires ramp quickly and confidently. You'll work one-on-one and in small groups to reinforce core sales skills, provide actionable feedback, and accelerate performance in the field.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running full-cycle deals, understands the challenges sellers face day-to-day, and can translate that experience into practical, empathetic coaching. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, where flexibility, communication, and accountability are key.
Key Responsibilities
Field & New Hire Coaching
- Provide hands-on coaching for new sales hires to accelerate ramp and build confidence in live selling situations.
- Shadow calls, meetings, and prospect interactions to give real-time feedback on methodology, messaging, and objection handling.
- Partner with sales managers to close skill gaps, reinforce onboarding training, and support reps in applying learning in the field.
- Develop individualized coaching plans to help new and tenured reps achieve quota attainment faster.
Skill Development & Enablement
- Reinforce key sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, value selling) through practical application in customer conversations.
- Identify seller strengths and areas for improvement by reviewing pipeline, call recordings, and live deal interactions.
- Provide targeted coaching on prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Collaborate with enablement and onboarding teams to align coaching with training curriculum and sales priorities.
Content & Tools Application
- Help reps effectively use sales tools (LinkedIn, Salesforce, etc.) in the flow of selling.
- Reinforce adoption of playbooks, talk tracks, and messaging in real customer engagements.
- Share field insights with enablement to refine sales training, playbooks, and onboarding resources.
Measurement & Impact
- Track coaching progress and performance improvement using CRM data, PG metrics, and attainment results.
- Report on coaching outcomes (e.g., ramp speed, conversion rates, win rates, skill improvements) to sales leadership.
- Gather feedback from sellers and managers to continuously refine the coaching approach.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of direct sales experience (B2B SaaS or enterprise preferred).
- Proven success in sales training, coaching, or enablement.
- Strong facilitation and interpersonal coaching skills with ability to influence sellers at all levels.
- Familiarity with modern sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, value selling, etc.) and GTM motions.
- Skilled at balancing multiple coaching priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility in scheduling to support coaching across multiple regions/time zones.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
