Sales Operations Sr. Consultant

The Sales Operations Sr. Consultant supports the International VS&A (Video Security & Access) Sales Leadership team. This role is crucial in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of an international sales organization. Operational functionality is key to driving revenue and growth by optimizing processes for future scalability and strategic expansion.

The responsibilities of the Senior Sales Operations Consultant include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with senior executives to define and execute the overall sales strategy, including sales goals, target markets, and revenue projections.
  • Providing high-level support to the sales team through advanced data analytics, bespoke reporting, and actionable insights to enhance field effectiveness.
  • Analyzing complex sales data to identify emerging market trends, white-space opportunities, and critical areas for process improvement.
  • Managing and optimizing Salesforce environments to ensure the highest standards of data integrity and pipeline visibility.
  • Developing and implementing sales tactics in direct partnership with sales leaders to drive regional and global performance.
  • Creating executive-level dashboards and KPIs to track real-time sales performance, win/loss ratios, and conversion metrics.
  • Leading the sales forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment between regional sales outputs and corporate financial targets.
  • Identifying and streamlining operational bottlenecks to improve the ease of doing business for both internal teams and channel partners.
  • Providing strategic training to sales teams on advanced tools, new operational processes, and global best practices.
  • Conducting competitive market research to inform go-to-market strategies and maintain a dominant market position.
  • Implementing and managing sales-enablement software, ensuring seamless integration across the international tech stack.
  • Designing performance evaluation systems to objectively measure and drive the productivity of the global sales team.

Basic Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Product Management, or a technical field is required; Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within an international or enterprise technology environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to evaluate team performance and provide high-level coaching and mentorship.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective verbal and written interaction with senior leadership, sales teams, and cross-functional departments. Fluent English is a must.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills used to develop and implement new global sales strategies.
  • Deep financial acumen and business logic to understand sales profitability, margins, and complex deal structures.
  • Expert technology skills, specifically in Salesforce.com and advanced database software tools.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build, manage, and influence large virtual teams across different cultures.
  • Excellent consensus-building and conflict-resolution skills required to navigate a matrixed global organization.
  • Knowledge of channel distribution strategy and partner programs is strongly desired.
