Multigate is looking for a detailed and well oriented and driven FI Sales Executive who will be in charge of increasing company revenue and expanding our client portfolio. The individual should be persuasive and have strong business acumen as well as demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
To acquire, manage, and grow partnerships with fintech's, remittance companies, and financial institutions globally, leveraging Multigate's cross-border rails for payments in and out of Africa. The FI Sales Executive must have strong global fintech ecosystem relationships, technical understanding of payments, remittances, and stablecoins, and deliver measurable impact.
Partnership Acquisition & Growth: Secure 5–7 additional remittance and fintech API clients in the first year.
Revenue & Volume Targets: Onboard API clients to drive $30m+ monthly volumes.
Strategic Relationship Development: Leverage Tier-1 network; generate 10+ qualified introductions per quarter.
Market Intelligence & Product Alignment: Provide fintech and cross-border remittance insights monthly; validate at least 2 client-driven feature requests per quarter.
Cross-Functional Execution: Complete onboarding within ≤45 days; ensure SLA compliance >95%
Country Coverage: Secure remittance and fintech API clients across the our licensed countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique and more.
Sales & BD Mastery – skilled at identifying, negotiating, and closing remittance and fintech clients.
Fintech Ecosystem Knowledge – deep understanding of remittances, payments, and stablecoin infrastructure.
Technical Fluency – able to discuss APIs, webhooks, integrations, and architecture with tech/product counterparts.
