Business Development Representative (BDR) Opportunity

Looking to launch your career in fintech or SaaS sales? Join our dynamic and growing sales team as a Business Development Representative (BDR), where you'll gain foundational skills and hands-on experience in a high-impact, sales support role. As a BDR, you'll work closely with seasoned sales professionals to drive pipeline growth and contribute directly to team success. Along the way, you'll receive valuable training, real-world exposure, and performance-based rewards—because when the team wins, you win. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll play a critical role in building the top of the sales funnel and often serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients engaging with Nasdaq Analytics. Your ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively—both over the phone and via email—is essential as you generate leads and introduce our value proposition. Because you'll represent the front line of our outreach efforts, strong business acumen, a warm demeanor, and polished professionalism are key. While experience in sales or finance/investment management is preferred and can accelerate your success, it is not a requirement. The BDR role offers a dynamic blend of fast-paced collaboration and flexible autonomy. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in both high-energy team environments and self-directed work. This isn't a clock-in, clock-out role—it's a goal-driven opportunity where your performance and initiative directly impact outcomes. If you're a self-starter with a competitive edge and a passion for results, we'd love to connect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify leads for the sales team through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing and other channels
  • Lead and support discovery calls and product demos with prospects
  • Manage CRM data hygiene, contact updates, and lead tracking
  • Run outbound email campaigns and support marketing initiatives
  • Support sales-led events and conferences
  • Collaborate closely with sales reps and leadership to drive results with quarterly KPIs
  • Stay informed on product updates, pricing, and market trends
  • Support administrative tasks and continuously look for ways to improve team efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance, Business, or related field preferred)
  • Self-starter with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset
  • Coachable, curious, and eager to learn
  • Strong communication skills and a bias for action
  • Hustle mentality—comfortable with cold outreach and fast-paced environments
  • In-Office 3 Days per Week

Preferred but not Required:

  • Experience in fintech or SaaS sales
  • Prior BDR or Sales Executive experience
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Outreach
  • Familiarity with Nasdaq eVestment
