Business Development Representative

We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Switch Team, reporting to the Head of Exchange Transfers. In this role, you'll help shape how we grow our corporate listings business by identifying opportunities and supporting senior sales executives in driving transfers from competing financial exchanges.

You'll fit right in if you're curious, collaborative, and love building relationships while learning about the ins and outs of capital markets in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Research and identify companies listed on rival exchanges and kick off outreach via email, phone, and social channels.
  • Qualifying leads to ensure they meet criteria for engagement by senior sales executives.
  • Assist in building early-stage relationships with Heads of Investor Relations or Chief Financial Officers.
  • Prepare briefing materials, coordinate meetings, and support senior sales executives throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop working knowledge of capital markets, listing requirements, and competitive dynamics to inform outreach strategies.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date to support forecasting and reporting.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years in business development, sales, or client-facing roles.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging professionals at all levels.
  • A growth mindset and eagerness to learn about capital markets and enterprise sales.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with CRM systems (Salesforce), Excel, and digital tools for outreach and reporting.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in capital markets or financial services.
  • Familiarity with global teams and cross-border collaboration.

This position will be located in Boston and offers a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days-in-office per week).

The base pay range for this role is $70,000 - $123,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
