Sales Trainee - Non Exempt

Just graduated or graduating soon and ready to launch your career? At 3E, we're looking for driven, curious, and motivated individuals to join our Sales Training Program—a hands-on, 24-month journey designed to equip you with the skills and experience to thrive in one of the nation's fastest-growing industries. This isn't your average entry-level gig. You'll rotate through key departments like Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, Various Sales Positions, and more—getting a full 360° view of the business. Along the way, you'll gain real-world experience, learn directly from seasoned pros, and develop the tools you need to succeed as a future Sales Associate at 3E. We have current opportunities in the following markets: Columbus, NE, Omaha, NE and Sioux City, IA.

Reports to: Location or Division Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Current, valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on the trainee's current segment of the training and will include warehouse, office and external environments. During some segments, activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office segments may include sitting for extended periods. Various segments will include some travel – both by car and by air.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the CED business through hands-on experience.
  • Participate in a combination of online and in-person training sessions at various locations.
  • Receive structured on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced managers.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with solar customers.
  • Collaborate with Division and Training Managers on setting and achieving professional and business goals.
