About the Position
The Business Development Representative Intern (based in Barcelona) will support our growth in the French-speaking market. You will work closely with the sales team to research potential leads, assist in outreach activities, schedule meetings, and maintain CRM records. This is a hands-on role offering training in business development, lead generation, and market research, with exposure to international property and hospitality markets.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential B2B leads in the French property and hospitality sectors
- Assist with outreach to prospective partners via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Support the scheduling of meetings for senior BDRs and Sales Executives
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company CRM
- Track and report on outreach activities and lead generation progress
- Assist in preparing sales materials, proposals, and presentations
- Collaborate with other departments to support market growth initiatives in French-speaking regions
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Fluency in French (written and spoken) is essential
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field at a recognised university or business school
- Internship must be a mandatory part of your academic programme
- Interest in business development, sales, or partnerships within a service-oriented industry
- Comfortable making outbound calls and writing professional emails
- Organised, proactive, and eager to learn
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive) is an advantage but not required
