Your key responsibilities will include: analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights; identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these to our clients; learning and researching current market trends, to maintain your credibility as a trusted advisor; developing clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve our clients' tax activities; researching our clients' business operations and building long-lasting relationships to tailor your advice to their specific needs; participating in a motivated team of professionals.
Skills and attributes for success include: a predicted undergraduate or graduate degree with a concentration in Finance, Economics, International Business, or a related field; a strong academic record including coursework that EY deems relevant to this position; excellent communication skills, proficiency in basic MS Office tools, and strong writing skills, with business fluency in the English language; proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; the ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects; the ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary; access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites.
Ideally, you will have proficiency in a technology-enabled environment and knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
