Delegate Sales Executive
£30-£32k basic (DOE) plus uncapped commission

At Newton Media, you'll be part of a passionate delegate sales team that drives attendance and engagement across our global events portfolio. You'll connect with senior professionals, help them discover the value of attending our events, and play a key role in each event's commercial success.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for generating delegate revenue and ensuring our events are filled with the right attendees. You'll:
- Achieve and exceed delegate sales targets across a range of conferences and awards.
- Proactively reach out to prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
- Build strong relationships with senior-level professionals and decision-makers.
- Understand client needs and match them with relevant event opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales records and pipelines using our CRM system.
- Research new leads, track market trends, and share insights with the wider team.
- Work closely with marketing, sponsorship, and event teams to align sales activity with campaign messaging and event goals.

You'll also have:
- It's desirable that you have at least 1 years experience in delegate sales for B2B conferences or events.
- Essential that you have a minimum of 2 years experience in an outbound B2B environment making 50-100+ outbound calls per day.
- A proven record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with senior executives.
- Confidence in negotiation and closing multi-event deals.
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Constant Contact, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- A proactive, resilient attitude; you take ownership and make things happen.
- Familiarity with digital and social selling techniques (especially LinkedIn).
(It's a bonus if you know our key markets: insurance, financial services, or intellectual property or have experience in international delegate acquisition.)
