We are seeking a driven and strategic Agency Sales Account Executive to join our team. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for selling Nielsen's Audience Measurement products and services to U.S. Advertising Agencies. The responsibilities include sales of our audience measurement services, growing new and existing relationships across internal/external stakeholders while demonstrating Nielsen's value. In this role, you will take ownership of managing the client relationship by supporting existing products, conducting meetings and discovering new opportunities and uncovering net-new clients and opportunities. You will collaborate closely with management and internal teams, specialist sellers, and cross-functional teams to provide innovative, data-driven solutions that address clients' marketing and business challenges.
This position will require being on-site and at Client locations at least 3 times per week.
Sales and Business Development:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of professional experience in a new business sales or new business development role, ideally within the advertising, media, or data-driven marketing industries. Proven experience selling in the media industry. Sales experience with audience measurement services or data-driven marketing solutions to brands, agencies and media planners is a plus. Ability to understand client needs and craft tailored solutions that leverage Nielsen's audience measurement tools. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment under tight deadlines. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
