As a Counter Salesperson, you will assist customers in person and over the phone, enter orders in system, review and pull orders, and ensure customers' needs are met in a professional and timely fashion. Reports to Profit Center Manager. Minimum Qualifications include: sales experience of 1 year and customer service experience of 1 year. Working conditions vary based on activities and may include warehouse, sales floor, and external environments. Some activities will include lifting (maximum 50 lbs.), sorting, standing, and possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Essential Job Functions include creating sales registers, pulling material from the warehouse, filling orders, creating or writing manual cash sale receipts, accepting cash sale returns and writing up cash sale refunds, keeping the counter area and displays clean, stocked, and neat at all times, assisting in maintaining the entire location in a clean and orderly fashion, and answering sales calls and completing orders over the phone.
